Marlin Camp Carbine Vs. Ruger Police Carbine

Maybe the same person that designed the marlin 60, another mouse trap.

Do you schrematic for the Camp? It's possible someone tinkered with it, changing or weakening springs to lighten the trigger pull is thought. Are there any signs that someone did grinding? Is the firing pin and spring working properly?

Based on these posts, I'm leaning more towards the Ruger PC9 if I can find one.

I don't mind heavy, it'll be a range plinker/ HD carbine.

The AR 9mm I'm building is also going to be heavy, since the lower receiver is steel, mag well is steel and buffer tube is steel. Neither will be carried a lot over long distances.
