Medal of Honor Memorial Defaced

Provided that due process identifies the perpetrators, could we discuss an appropriate punishment without straying from the high road?

peace symbols and a plea to "legalize ganja," a reference to marijuana.
Maybe we should throw our hands up in the air and say "alright, you win. Lets legalize ganja"
:barf:

I hope the perps are caught and tried before a judge who also happens to be a Veteran. ;)

Due process first...

Then those found guilty get individually locked into a room full of US Marines. After said Marines are shown the damage done to the monument.

Disgraceful that this transpired in my hometown! :fire:

Punishment? My suggestions:
1. if convicted, I believe, as several others have stated, that 750 hours of community service in the Veterans Administration hospital in Indianapolis is a just sentence.

2. Make them wear shirts stating "I defaced the MoH memorial" and answer phones at the Marine Corps recruiting station downtown Indy.

3. Something similar to MADD, make them go talk to the actual holders of the MoH or their parents or widows.

4. Make them do their community service AT the momument on the Canal. Cleaning everything with toothbrushes, supervised by VFW members.

5. Walk door to door throughout Indianapolis and apologize for bringing shame to the city.

Another perfect example of the peacefullness and open mindedness of our Liberal friends. Seriously, what mindless POS would do that? Those people need to start thinking about things before they do them. Instead of blindly following the poisonous vomit of complete morons like Michael Moore.

In addition to their regular sentences, if I were the judge, I'd require the creatures to work many hundreds of hours in a military or veterans' hospital. They need to know the people they've mocked.

That is the most eminently sensible sentencing suggestion I've ever heard.

I suggest that the Memorial should be guarded by men armed with M-1 rifles and M1911-A1 .45 pistols. :scrutiny:

So much for a gun content... :D

"Where's the gun content?"

I'll take a wild stab at it and say that at least some of those heros used a firearm of some sort in earning their country's respect.

They should be ordered (by the judge) to address the local VFW and admit to the damage. Then visit each military recruiting station and do the same. Finally, they should be responsible for the cleaning and repair bill. Or, deport them to Canada. Those little heartless cowardly pieces of s***. :cuss:
