Just watched this video and still looks like the anti-gun lobbyist are using the gun buy back from LA to perpetuate their agendas.

Granted, the rocket launchers are extreme, but I doubt the person had rockets ready to rob a liquor store. Probably a conversational piece and the person wanted money for it.

Do any of you get tired of the blatant attempt to undermine legitimate gun owners? I get tired of the media demonizing the tax paying, legal carrying gun members. This is not the worse video that targets us, but I get really sick and tired of seeing the media assuage the liberals.

About 20 years ago I heard from a local railway worker that a sealed car was robbed at a local train yard; among the items rumored to be taken were crates of live LAWS launchers.

I don't know if it was true. I would figure that live ordnance would ship with .. well.. live security.

Just search “AT-4 Launcher demiled for sale” and you will find a bunch on ebay. They are about as useful as a 3” piece of PVC pipe and I’m sure the people who orchestrated this gun buyback program know that too. But it sounds great in the newspaper.

If someone knows of another gun buyback coming up in another large city I’d chip in $50 to go towards buying one and we can do a YouTube video overview of just how useless the piece of pipe is. Then we can videotape the individual physically turning it in at the gun buyback and receiving the money. Finally we'll cap it all off with a picture of the newspaper headlining how a dangerous anti-tank rocket launcher was taken off the streets with another successful gun buy back program. Any procedes we’ll then donate to the NRA, GOA, JPFO or whatever.

Yeah rocket launcher crime has gone up in my neighborhood.......SAID BY NOBODY EVER.

I stand corrected, I got my Rocket Launcher stamp for my hunting license. I can now aim at the woods and get a buffet with one shot.

Me and my friends are going to do a drive by on a local gang with our rocket launcher later. I may even bring out the howitzer and tow missiles. I contacted CNN, they are doing a story on the number of citizens using howitzers and tow missiles as gang weapons.

When they threaten to catch me, I am going to commit suicide with my compound bow. Not quite figured out how to, but mark my words, we will get those compound bows banned too.

I just checked my local Wal-Mart and they were fresh out of rocket launcher ammo, the clerk said he was expecting a shipment two weeks after never!:)

I just thought of something I haven't noted before. If I go in with one of those very valuable firearms sitting on the table and get one of their sad-sack vouchers or whatever - which no where near approximates either the current value or the original value... how is it a "buy-back" program?

Makes me wish I had the hundreds of AT-4 tubes I've seen demilled by 7-ton trucks on chucked in a Camp Pendleton Dumpster.

Massive loss of cool points for the LAPD, who prides them selves on having so many veterans employed there.

De-milled AT-4s no doubt about it. I don't think ANYBODY on this planet would actually be stupid enough to give up a fully functional Rocket Launcher for $50-$250. I might for $250,000 but then again most likely not.
