ok i tryed search feature but im on my phone so its not listening to me.. anyway tried searching online and all im finding is airsoft related stuff. im about to start another project and i have an under folding ak stock that im going to put on my .22. now the holes for it would be easyer if it was hollow metal stock but how much do those weigh? im decent with metal and wood working and have about every standard hand/power tool (no $10,000 cool ones).more like to thick to bend by hand but not 1/2 in steel either. if that makes since. any ideas how heavy the stock would be? or any other advise?

-thanks in advance

No, but it gets awful cold in Alaska I bet.

A metal stock might give you instant frostbite when you lay your cheek on it.

Kinda like sticking your tongue to a flag pole! :D

And it's not just Alaska, anywhere it can get cold, been -0 here in Ky lately. And don't forget the opposite end of the temperature scale, metal can get hot enough to burn in the hot sun very quickly.
Wood or plastic for me please anywhere my hands or cheek are in contact.
