Mike Venturino has a short chapter in his six gun book that talks about light loads which blow the top straps and top three chambers ,his thoughts are possibly too much air to powder ,these are large .45 lc tho .I'd stick with the load data min.

Look at some of Hornadys data using H110. The spread tested is a lot more than 3% reduction!

Even Hodgdon's own online data doesn't stick to their '3%' rule...
