Two more Ruger Pimpies on the way, yet searching for more to buy! Have ordered TWO Clement's .50's, Two .50's On Stainless Remmies And TWO Solid frame conversion .58 calibers on Second model Dragoon frames (Local Black powder smith and Barrelmaker)

His Number One Tune on the Navies is indescribable! All newly made parts internal, wire springs including mainspring, timed, aligned, honed barrel, both shoot ONE HOLE at twenty five yards all day, every day, no excuses.

More guns! Must have MORE GUNS!!!!!!!

Oh yes! Rifles! A bunch! Got the Kodiak Double in .72 caliber, wife asked; "Why?". "Rhinos" Said i. "Rhinos?!?!?! There are no Rhinos in Ohio!!!" "Exactly!!!!"

:)

Ok, Now I get it. Didn't know the list for the PM but i would say you need a Uberti 61 navy. Mine is one of my best shooters.

A '61? Uberti or Pietta? Have read this debate of which is better, no telling by me! Have seen some horrible things from both, and the 1858 Remmie "Shooter's Revolver" from Pietta is not bad at all.

Conversely, two of the Remmie Stainless Target jobs, Uberti, are Drunken Monkey workmanship, horrible.

One brace of '61s coming up!

my prejudice is toward Uberti but the bias comes from not handling too many recent Piettas-also from trying to get straight information out of the Pietta people.

You should hear the local black powder smith if anyone uses the word "Quality" in respect to ANY Italian offering. Language like that kills plants!

he has fifty years of solid precident to back him up on that. I do think things have gotten better.

He says, were he to purchase a hundred sets of lockwork, by mixing&matching MIGHT get twenty functional sets. Does not mean good, just functional. Not matter of if but WHEN they fail.

He makes his own hammers, triggers, bolts and hands, from tool steels, same as in both of my Navies. Screws also!
