Finally! Activism made simple for those who don't want to get up off their duff.

NOTE: Not all the movies listed should be "missed"- but I didn't know how to post the red ones- so go to the actual site.

If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed, if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not so costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance for survival. There may be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no chance of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves. - Winston Churchill

You've probably read about the NRA " Blacklist". If you look up the definition of blacklist, you'll find something like this:
A list of persons or organizations that have incurred disapproval or suspicion or are to be boycotted or otherwise penalized.
The definition seems to fit. The corporations and individuals on the NRA list are those who have come out against your right to keep and bear arms. They oppose your right to self-defense...
Against criminals
Against terrorists
Against your own government gone rogue.
Does that make them deserving of "disapproval" or "suspicion"? You bet it does!!

Criminals: According to the FBI Uniform Crime Reports, there is a violent crime every 22.1 seconds in this country. An assault every 35.3 seconds, a rape every 5.5 minutes, a murder every 32.4 minutes. Your best means of self-defense is a firearm. But the people and companies on the NRA list want you to be helpless against criminal attack.
Terrorists: According to the census bureau, half a million illegal aliens penetrate our borders each year and are not caught. How many of them are terrorists? Before 9/11/2001, people might have laughed at the idea that 19 foreign nationals could kill 3,000 people in a single day in this country. But nobody is laughing now. Our borders are so porous, it's only a matter of time before terrorists walk in and start killing people. Haven't you noticed that most mass killings take place in "gun free" zones? Churches, schools, airplanes. Just think what one armed citizen on each flight might have been able to do on September 11th!

Rogue Government: In the past century, over 100 million people were killed by their own governments. Some people will say it could never happen here - but those same people probably thought that we'd never see a terrorist attack wipe out 3,000 people in one day, or that all of the government intrusion of George Orwell's 1984 would appear in the United States... but it already has. How long before the very voice of dissent becomes a mark of "anti-patriotism"? Some might convincingly argue that it already has. How long then, before our own government begins to arrest and confine citizens without charges, without access to legal representation, for weeks, months, even years at a time? In case you haven't read the news, it already has. And though the courts have ordered the government to respect the Constitutional rights of the Americans so detained, the Federal Government has so far ignored the courts. How long before the government uses weapons to brutally murder American citizens? It already has...

Arms in the hands of citizens, a legal right to bear arms - that is the chief difference between America and almost every other country in the world. It is what gives us the ability to defend ourselves... and every time you buy a product from one of the companies on the NRA list, every time you buy a CD or movie ticket for a performance that features one of these people -- you put money in the pocket of someone who wants to strip you of your rights. Lately, some of the celebrities have said they are proud to be on the list. Think of that: They are proud that they are helping to make you defenseless. (But don't think that they will do without guns. Most of the celebrities either have gun permits, or have armed bodyguards... or both!)

So if you're tired of helping to fund people who think you are not deserving of the same level of safety and protection as they are, STOP PUTTING MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS! Just MISS THESE MOVIES!

I'm pretty sure Kevin Costner wasn't in Kill Bill. And it seems silly to boycott an explicitly pro-rkba rmovie like Kill Bill just because Uma Thurman said something stupid at some point (I assume that's her "crime").

Runaway Jury should be boycotted because its messages is explicitly anti-RKBA, and I'll think twice before I see a John Cusack movie again. But its hard to say that he maked Runaway Jury because of his politics, or was he already signed up to do the movie when they changed it from anti-tobacco companies to anti-guns?

Rob Zombie, right wing gun nut's House of 1000 corpses? I'm trying to figure that one out.

Is that a list of bad movies, or a list of every single movie that came out this year?

Yes, boycott every movie, boycott every store, boycott every food item, just sit in a hole and eat dirt. Then you know you are figthing for freedom.

House of 1000 corpses and TCM could have ended much sooner if the people that are the victims had a gun, so I see those films as movies that say heres another reason for the RKBA> I dont see why I should boycott any of these films except runaway jury.

I don't know, a movie where the main character walks around america armed all the time (in this cas, with a sword rather than a gun) is an example of rkba.

Its not like its the anti-bowling for columbine. But then, if Tarantino was anti-RKBA, I belive the movie would have been a fair bit different.

Why did Matrix 2 & 3 make the list, but not the original? Asner and Barrymore I can do without in general, but some of that list are questionable. Does one anti among ten pro or silent constitute a bycottable film?

Guys, visit the link. Only the movies IN RED are to be missed. I don't know why he put all those other movies on the list, or why he thinks costner was involved with Kill Bill, but he's not saying that all of these are bad.
