I am new to reloading .223. I have reloaded pistol for a while and always just mixed brass for normal target loads. As long as I trim the .223 brass to the same length, should I see any problems with mixed brass for an AR? This is just range/plinking ammo so I want it accurate, but I don't need 1 inch groups at 100yds.

If you work up a maximum load for an AR in commerical brass ,then put the same load/powder in military brass, you can have high pressure because the military brass is heaver. 223 remington and 5.56 nato is not exactly the same in brass or chamber.

Unless you are brass brand specific... hehe j/k Yeah you can go ahead and mix and match whatever... colors too! :D
