Hi All, I am another 'newbie' and have a few questions.
I am planning to reload for my 7mm Rem Mag. I already have a Forster Full length sizing die. If I want to use a neck sizing die in the future, does it have to be Forster or can I use Hornady or other brands of dies?

I am planning on using ADI AR2217 powder, with 162gr A-Max projectiles in once used (my rifle) Norma brass. My hope is to develop a good hunting load for ranges 200m - 600m. Am I on the right track? Do I need to resize these rounds since the brass was fired from my own rifle or should I just neck size them and trim to length if needed?

Now is a good time to try a Lee Collet Neck Sizer. It has a moving part that seems to confuse some people but those who take the time to learn to use it correctly love it above all other neck dies.

The Lee collet die works very well. My .222 Mag will shoot bug holes using it along with the Lee dead length seater.

Soem day I'll be buying one of those collet dies, but for now I use an RCBS neck die and seat with an RCBS competition die. If for not other reason than to further my brass life, since I'm completely satisfied with the neck die results on paper.
