Mixing magazine parts

Hey friends!

Well I was hard at work today disassembling and cleaning my factory new Zastava M70A, working hard to remove the factory applied grease. This included stripping the pistol, and disassembling my 3 magazines for it. Everything was going well until I realized that I had mixed up the parts for the disassembled magazines, and as they were brand new it was impossible to tell them apart. I could have kicked myself.

So how much trouble am I in? Is it bad to mix up parts from different magazines? They were all the same Zastava make and model, identical to each other... but I'm not sure if this was the right thing to do.

You do realize that the parts were mass-produced in an assembly-line from piles of parts? As big of a deal as mixing 3 pairs of the same socks.

Same goes for the gun itself.

Parts can wear into one another and there can be a difference in the operation of any machine, if parts from one are mixed with those of another.
Not when new, but after use.
While using parts from one used gun in another could cause problems, the magazines are so simple in design that it's not likely.
As long as they all worked properly in the first place, of course.
