Now proud to say the Mighty MO!
Thought this might be interesting.

If you had to go with one and only one supplier for each aspect of your shooting needs who would you choose:

For me:

1. Rifles: Savage (available in every caliber I'll ever need, lefty bolt actions, good quality, priced low)

2. Revolvers: Ruger (price and quality, not to mention durability and a great line of single actions)

2. Autoloaders: Glock (almost hate to say it but they are available in many sizes and calibers, don't actually own one yet)

4. Shotgun: Mossberg (if I were right handed I'd say Remington, I like the tang safety)

5: Jacketed Bullets Speer (I started with these and they still work)

6: Cast Lead Bullets: Bear tooth Bullets (the best)

7: Factory Ammo: Federal (lots of variety and good quality)

8: Powder: Hodgtons (this is the line I use primarily anyway, covers all my needs and good price in my area)

9: Brass: Starline

10. Primers: CCI

11. Reloading equipment: RCBS (I'm not into a progressive yet, when I am I might say dillion

Feel free to add other categories

OK, I'll play.

Rifles: Remington (5R barrels rule)

Revolvers: Ruger (toughest on the market)

Pistols: Sig (easy for left handers)

Shotgun: Remington (870 Express)

Factory ammo: Federal (168 gr BTHP wins my heart for rifle and I don't want to get within pistol range)

Powder: Goex. OK, it's blackpowder and I won't load 7.62 mm Nato with the stuph, but it's what I like best.

Optics: Leupold

Sights: Trijicon.

Lasers: Lasermax

rifle & handgun reloading press: Dillon

Shotgun Press: Posness Warren

Gunrag: What's that journal from the Royal Armory at Leeds? T'aint no rag either or our own Arms & the Man.

Publisher: Collectors' Grade Publications in Canada.

Does this mean I have Boardwalk & Park Place with hotels on both?

Rifles: Remington

Revolvers: Smith and Wesson ( I haven't worn one out yet)

Pistols: SIG ( I was tempted to say Colt)

Shotgun: Remington

Replacement grips: Hogue

Holsters: Galco

Factory Ammo: Winchester

Powder: Alliant - they have all I ever need.

Optics: Leupold

Brass: Winchester

Primers: Winchester

Reloading Equipment: Lee ( That's all I have and it works great)

Jacketed Bullets: Speer

Rifles - Armalite.
Revolvers - I'm not really much into revolvers, but I doubt that I could go wrong with Smith and Wesson.
Automatics - :( There's no one manufacturer that does it all for me (self-defense, IDPA/USPSA, and NRA Bullseye.) I'd probably have to settle for Colt, with a Marvel upper for the .22 stages. I'd sure miss my Euro uber-.22, though.
Shotgun - Probably Franchi.
Holsters - Comp-Tac.
Slings - The Wilderness.
Factory Ammo - Black Hills, by a country mile!
Iron Sights - Trijicon.
Optics - In fantasyland, U.S. Optics. In the real world, Leupold does everything I need.
Reloading Equipment - Dillon.

Rifles: Did Tula make the AKs and RPKs? If so, then Tula. If not, I'd have to go with Armalite.

Revolvers: I'ma have to go with Ruger.

Semi-auto pistols: Well, I'd have to go with Glock too, because although I wouldn't trade my Walther P99 for three G17s, glock does provide a great many calibers and the guns are reliable and accurate. Hey, do we get to keep our current guns?

Shotgun: As much as I'd like to say Remington, to have at least two American companies on the list, I think I'd go with Benelli, especially if Stoeger, Benelli, and Franchi are all subdivisions of the same company.

Reloading supplies and equipment: Well, you know, I don't reload, so I don't really know, although I'd most likely use Winchester brass because:

Ammunition: Winchester, just because they make so many calibers in so many types, and also a lot of shotshells. Also, I can get it locally at a reasonable price.

Well, my choices stack up like this:

a) Rifles: Remington 700 BDL's

b) Shotguns: Remington 870's

c) Revolver's: Smith & Wesson

d) Self-Loader's: SIG-SAUER

e) Handloading Equipment: R.C.B.S.

f) Bullet's: Speer

g) Leather Goods: Bianchi Leather

h) Optics: Redfield

i) Hearing Protection: Basch & Lomb

j) Lubricant: Break Free CLP

k) Powder: Alliant

l) Primers: Federal

m) Handgun Pistol Rugs: Koplin

n) Corrective Lens: Var-i-Lux Yellow Tint (High Viz) No Line Bifocals

o) Magazines: Factory

p) Speed Loaders: HKS

q) Screwdriver Set: Bonanza

r) Speed Strips: Bianchi

s) Dial Caliper: Midway

t) Handgun Grips: Hogue

Looks like that will about do it for me; but I hope it
NEVER comes down to this!

Best Wishes,

Rifles:

Depends on if I can break it up like you did for handguns or if I need one catagory for rifles.

If broken down:
Lever Rifles: Winchester
Bolt: Either Savage or Howa, in both you get a good quality, accurate, reliable and inexpensive rifle.
Semi: Not sure. In semis I only have an SKS and a Marlin 60. I can't think of anyone that covers all bases here from military style to rimfire. Probably between Bushmaster (AR), Springfield (M1A) or FN (FAL) and a slim chance to go w/ Browning for the BAR and their top notch .22lr (which I'd choose I can't really say until I try all, or most, of them).

If one must cover all:
Can "mil-surplus" count? M1Carbine, M1 Garand, SKS, Romanian .22 bolt trainers, MNs, Mausers, Enfields, etc.

If not then probably Ruger. They don't necessarily make the best in any catagory but they make decent, solid and reliable rifles in all catagories. Lever guns (though not anywhere near traditional styling), nice bolt rifles both in centerfire and rimfire, rimfire semis, and centerfire semis (Mini-14, Mini-30, Deerfield carbine in .44mag).

Revolvers: Probably S&W, I love classic S&Ws. Possibly Taurus, hard to beat the variety.

Autos: This is real tough since few make a gun that fits all my wants and likes here. I love my CZ 75B but I love 1911s just as much and they don't make one and they don't have a lot of small carry type guns. S&W might work. Taurus would be perfect (Beretta 92 type gun in both 9mm and .40, mid size PT911/940 and 945, small concealable pistols in the Milenium Pro, small pocket .22 and .25, now coming out with a .22lr target pistol, etc) but no 1911. Kimber and Springfield make great 1911s but nothing else (well, SA has the XD). Arrgh!

Probably since they have a selection of full size, high cap 9s, small concealable guns, polymer guns, .22s, and now 1911s I'd go with S&W.

Maybe SA, several varieties of 1911s, the XD and .22 conversions (from other makers) for the 1911.

Shotguns: Is there anyone that makes pump, semi, SxS and O/U shotguns since I eventually want one (or more) of each? If not I guess I'd settle for Remington and modern pumps and semis.

Factory Ammo: Winchester. Everything from cheap practice ammo (Win White Box) to premium self defense ammo and everything in between (such as "classic" SD loads like LSWCHP in .38 for instance).

Reloading Equipment: I mostly own Lee so I'd have to pick Lee. I like the convenience of the hand press and they make just about everything everyone else does and they are priced nicely (while still being decent quality).

Reloading Supplies: No real preference for most catagories yet, though for powder I'd have to go Hodgedons since I also shoot blackpowder occasionally and for bullets I'd go Speer (I'd have to reload Gold Dots since I picked Winchester as my factory ammo and I prefer Gold Dots for my defensive ammo).

Let me play!

1. Rifles: Ruger. But I don't own a rifle.

2. Revolvers: Ruger

3. Autoloaders: Para Ordnance. 1911 + max capacity + double action that is like a single action.

4. Shotgun: Remington

5: Jacketed Bullets - Hmmmm...

6: Cast Lead Bullets: Dwyers (a local company)

7: Factory Ammo: CorBon - although they don't have the variety, I love their stuff. If money is never an object, this is all I will shoot, all day long. Otherwise, Federal because of the variety.

8: Powder: Alliant

9: Brass: Starline

10. Primers: Winchester (CCI's dont work well in my Dillon)

11. Reloading equipment: Dillon

Rifle -- Remington

Shotgun -- Remington

Revolver -- Older Smith & Wesson

Semi-auto -- Don't really care.

Jacketed bullets -- Hornady

Cast bullets -- As long as they're good and hard, I don't care.

Loaded ammo -- Tough one, but Winchester I guess.

Powder -- Winchester handsdown. No way am I giving up 231 and 296.

Brass -- Winchester

Primers -- Winchester (hum... A pattern emerges)

Reloading equipment -- Is there any other real choice but Dillon?

How about...

Scopes -- Leupold

Cleaning rods -- Dewey

Cleaning solvent -- Hoppes No. 9

Gun oil -- Rem. Oil

Gun grease -- DSX

teee...

I'd do it the 1890's way.

rifles -- Winchester (Mod 70 crf, '94, '92, whatever their bolt .22 is, WWII M1 if I gotta have a semi.. )
handguns -- Colt (1911, SAA, even *rrk* a little .38 maybe)

don't reload (yet), never really took to shotguns, so the rest is moot to me.

But hey, Winchester and Colt? Great American Traditions! :D
