Moose Hunt Question

Howdy All.

I'm starting to percolate the idea of a Moose Hunt in 2012 in Alberta and was wondering if I could bring a quartered Moose back in to the United States on ice to take to my processor and the head to my Taxidermist?

I don't see why not. How many thousands of Americans hunt in Canada every year? I've only ever heard of the US prohibiting the return of polar bear. There should be no issues whatsoever with moose.

Use to be, you had to have them completely boned out, i don't know what the law reads now?

There was some concern over the spread of chronic wasting disease, you should check with customs. There was a time that no deer heads or spines were allowed into or out of MN. There were no animals allowed over state lines even.

You need to talk to your side about importing game meat and trophy's. FDA, I think.
