I've about had it with Marlin. A couple weeks ago I had trouble with failure to extract issues with this Marlin 39a. Problem solved thanks to this forum and ArmedBear. Now my son was shooting this afternoon and now has problems with failure to feed constantly. The gun is trying to feed 2 or 3 rounds at the same time it seems to look like. Everything ends up jamming inside of the receiver for no apparent reason. Then we have to disassemble the whole thing in order to get the jammed up round out. I'm about ready to scream. When you spend $500 on a high end 22 you should have ZERO trouble with it for many many years in my opinion. I hate like hell to send it back to Marlin for repairs....I heard it takes a lot of time and summer would be over by the time we get it back. I'll take it to a gunsmith before I do that. BTW we just bought this about a month ago and have tried different ammo and the gun is very clean. Any ideas out there?
