Since starting to make things out of kydex (holsters and such) everyone and their brother wants stuff. I have gone through 22 square feet in less than 3 weeks. This is not my job, I only started to mainly make things for myself, but it is more than that now. Anywho here are somethings that I have made.

Great work. I love this type of thread...

Out of curiosity, what prompted you to make the IWB clips the "clip onto the pants behind the belt" sort as opposed to "clip straight onto the belt"?

dove,
what pic shows what you are asking? the 3rd one down? I think i know what you mean but help me make sure i answer correctly for what you are a asking.

I originally had the idea that it would be a good point of attachment, and draw the holster and gun in close to the body. Offering a solid clip that would also be easy on and easy off. Additionally with it being an IWB holster and the open part of the clip "up" it allows for a hard point in which to perform one handed slide racks. IE clearing malfunctions, and or reloading weapon hand only. I tried it first on a holster that i made myself and i was really happy with it and it worked out well, so all of my IWB holsters and mag pouches have that feature unless someone specifies differently or if it is a double IWB mag pouch.

The problem with that set up is that the weight is carried by the waistband of your pants, not your belt.

Nice work.

I've been playing around with Kydex a little bit as well. Here's a Glock 20 holster as well as a sheath for my el-cheapo Mora knife. Both are set up with clips that lock into the MOLLE straps on my hunting pack.

My next project is a holster that I can mount in my Jeep. I've been working through mounting options and am thinking about something like the bracket below so I can lock in different holsters.

Thanks for the comment, and I will continue to R&D and T&E the gear that i have made, and that I have sent to others to continue to figure out better ways of doing things.

Very nice work possum...thanks for sharing. I do all leather now - I haven't made the leap to kydex yet.
Thank you, You are a braver man than I. I don't want anything to do with leather unless it is maybe a "hybrid" type holster.
