mosin sight question

I want to buy a mosin nagant carbine but I don't like the rear sights they come with. Has anyone changed their's to a ghost ring or know if it's possible?

There are some peep sights made that should probably work. And, you can get a scout-mount that replaces the rear sight and mount just about anything you want.

I think the "Mojo" sights are what you're looking for. It's a company name. Here we go:

If you want an inexpensive, but high quality, scope mount that won't do anything permanent to the rifle shoot an email to [email protected] -- his name is Darrell. I dropped one of them on my M44 and I'm very happy with the quality. Shold run you about $50.

Come to think of it, I should get around to checking the 91/30 I bought a couple months ago and see how well she shoots. Might make a nice candidate for the Mojo sights.
