mossberg 500 barrel

Anyone got any input on the Mossberg 500, .50 cal muzzleloader convertion barrel ?

Haven't even heard of it, but now I want to. That seems like it could be a great idea. Off to google I go.

It's rock solid. I've owned dozens of bp guns over the years....the Mossy is the only one I still shoot. I have a 500 that I dressed up in leather that serves as my dedicated bp gun.

For you young folks with small. limber fingers, the primers will be a breeze....but for us old folks with knobby knuckles, a capper is your friend.

Converts 12 ga. Mod 500 into muzzleloader. Breech end accepts standard #209 shotshell primer. 24" barrel with 1:26" twist. Rifle-style sights. Nylon ramrod w/ steel ferrule ends. Uses 50 cal.
