i had just bought a mossberg 500 pistol grip 18 inch. it holds 8 shells. i had a mavrick 88 pistol grip 18 inch that only held 5. im loving the extra shells

I didn't know they sold a 18.5" with an extended mag.

What is the model number?

Mine is a 20" with 7+1

I can't find an shotgun on Mossberg's site that has a 18.5" barrel and holds 7+1.

If I did, I would have bought one.

Not on their site. But did a quick search. It shows a 20" barrel.

I have Moss 500 persuader, the barrel is 20, if it was less it would be shorter than the 7 rnd mag tube.
