I'd say it weighs about 8 pounds loaded. It's significantly lighter than my hawk 982 which feels like it weighs 70 pounds lol.

Guys I'm here to tell ya the S&J hardware extension is the real deal. The ggg follower and 835 spring loads smooth as butter. The s&j type 3 delrin followers are awesome to. I have one in my 500 with the 835 spring as well and it's buttery smooth loading as well.

I just wanted to update you guys and let you know that I shot this gun yesterday after having removed the "spring within a spring" on the hammer spring and replacing it with the MCarbo hammer and trigger spring kit.

I tried Fiocchi low recoil, rio low recoil, Winchester military buck, estate buck, and sellier and bellot buck, as well as some federal dove and game loads. Everything went bang.

The only issue I had was that the dove and game loads locked my gun up a couple of times. It did the same with my buddy's Pardner pump. So it was the ammo that was crappy.

Have no concerns about the MCarbo kit. It flat works! It also made it easier to pump.

I will definitely be doing it on my 500. It is kind of a pain in the rear as you need 4 hands to make it work. But anyone with half a brain of how things work can install this no problem.
