I sent my Yugo M59 Bolt to Murray's for his firing pin modification to prevent slamfires etc...Got the bolt back today and he did nice work. New firing pin with spring mod, polished the bolt face and extractor. Money Well spent. Now to send the trigger group to Kivarri!

Pardon me for being a mewbie but what exactly is a slamfire? I think i may be purchasing one of these type of rifles and am interested.

Slamfire is when the firing pin gets stuck in the forward position, so that it fires the next round as soon as the primer makes contact with the boltface. It makes the gun go full auto, and worse the bolt may not be in battery so the gun (and/or shooter) might end up severely damaged. Usually it happens when people don't clean all the cosmoline off their bolt.
