Hello all. I have been shopping around for some time now, for a company/qualified person to make a pistol barrel for me in .32NAA.

The problem that I have encountered, primarily, is this: "Wow. That is going to take more than three hours of work to do, and will gross less than $10 000. Not interested." So, my original idea was to have this work done for a Kel-Tec P3AT, but the answer to that is always that the barrel is too complicated of a geometry to make. SO:

Can anyone who owns a Colt Pocketlite (my sometimes first choice as an alternative) look at the barrel and tell me what you think about the ease in cutting that shape out of a cylindrical piece of steel? If you're not a machinist, that's OK ... does it look like a 1911 barrel, but scaled down? I like the Colt Mustang a lot, especially for the SA trigger versus the DAO for the Kel-Tec. I wouldn't mind having one or the other.

If this one works out, I will be able to get out .32NAA gelatin data from an actual working pocket gun. All of the .32NAA gelatin tests that are on my website came from a test barrel.

Thank you.

+1 Josh. The problem, unbelievably, has been to find people to do sleeving. I was referred to a business in Central FL, and he backed out, saying that he only works with old Lugers, etc.

Do you know of anyone who might do this? Thank you. JE223
