Well it may not be Bushmasters fault this time, but I got my AR back from the gunsmith and now it is shooting to far to the left instead of the right no matter what I do to the windage, and now it is jamming (stove pie) where as it never did that before. So called Bushmaster and $30 later it is on its way to them to hopefully get fixed for good. I just cant believe USPS charges so much all it was was an upper. Man.

Have you let someone else shoot it? Could it be OE (Operator Error) vs. the rifle? Did the smith test shoot it before returning it?
Sucks that you're going through so much to get your rifle right

Yes I let several peolple shoot it including a couple of Marines that were at my range a while back, I have shot AR's before and never had this problem I know my brothers Rock River shoots flawlessly and I was accurate. I dont think I will be purchasing anymore AR's though I do believe my next rifle will definately be buying a M14 or M1A of some sort I have heard nothing but great things about these rifles. And it does suck that it is being this way to get my rifle right:cuss: . But hopefully I can get it fixed if not I gues there will be a slightly used Bushmaster AR with some sighting problems for sale.

I know this is frustrating, but try to take things in stride. As you know, all companies let a lemon out the door once in a while. I guess maybe it was your turn. However, take heart that with a trip back to the factory a lemon might get turned into a peach. :)

Sounds like the barrel suffered from a common Bushmaster problem of overtorquing the barrel to the point that it was off center. Keep us posted on how things work out.

well i have 1 m1a and 1 m14 and a ar i have put several thousands of rounds thru all of them and i had all 3 of them jamm m1a are very mag picky and stove pipe alot if i use the wrong 20 mag in it also the gas port on fac. m1a is to small needs drilled out about the size of an ak gas port that will make it work better my ar only jams after it gets real hot and when i use cheap wolf ammo .the m1a/m14 is a killer rifle but it will jam like all gas operated gun will 1 m1a is springfield and the other is a polytech both good brands and the ar is a colt national match ..next time you here poeple talking good about a m1a ask them how many rounds they put thru it the 5 round mag that comes with the m1a works great in it but put a gi 20 in it when you find the problems good luck on the gun hunt .chk out a G3 i have ever seen 1 of those jam they are blowback operated
