Well... Shooting a CZ452 at 100 meters yesterday will three types of CCI Ammo:

Subsonic
Standard Velocity
Maxi Mag..

Zero in with the Maxi...

Fit supperssor load Subsonic... still grouping 1 MOA or there abouts... only 4 inches below POA :what:

Remove Suppressor SV.. again 1 MOA or thereabouts, but 2 inches below POA
Five an ten shot groups spread across three 1/2 inch sqaures...

That was very interesting for me... because at 50 meters one could zero with CCI SV and SWITCH to Subsonic and still hit POA. Maxi Mags would hit about an inch high.

Next week I shall experiment with CCI Green label...

At least this is cheaper than shooting the 222 Remington Mag or 300 Win mag.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the CCI Subsonic and the Standard Velocity both advertise a MV of 1050 or 1070 fps (IIRC) with the only difference being a 40 gr HP for the SS and a 40 gr RN for the SV.

I use the CCI Subsonic load in my Browning Nomad pretty much exclusively.

I think the Subsonic is a little slower than that... though I do need to check the documentation...

In which case why is there a 2 inch difference between SV and SS, turbulence with the HP in the SS bullet?
