I found an old teardrop lead sinker mold, made some modifications, and here is the result:
Its not the really pointy conical I was shooting for , but it is a first attempt. It weighs about 220 grains, has a hemispherical round base of .455 " máx OD and OAL of .68". It fits in the loading aperture of my ASMs, lines up well with the cylinder chamber, shaves a nice lead ring, and a good sealing surface, much like a round ball. The jury is still out on how it performs...quien sabe?
