I always kinda liked XD's. Never was a big fan of Glocks, not sure why, but I enjoyed shooting other people's XD's.

Buddy of mine was having financial problems, and needed cash very quickly. So he offered to sell me his XD .40 for a very reasonable amount.

All and all, for everything in the following photos I paid $340 or close to it. $20 of it was transfer fees and such from the local gunstore.

I think I got a decent bargain, all and all. Shoots very well, I like the feel of the weapon and it was right time. I'm a happy shooter. :D

I'm definitely a convert to 'plastic guns'.

Nice...:D

You know when the green guns started coming out, I could not stand the look of them.. But lately they have been very appealing to me.

Looks just like mine, except for the grips. You made good purchase that you won't regret. I love my green XD.

Isn't that strange? I felt the same way. Considering the similarities, it's kind of hard to figure why.

I guess it's kind of like I always liked the Camaro better than the Firebird. Never really knew why, I just did.

Man I dig the OD green XD. I have a sub - compact that I really enjoy shooting. What is that grip wrap ? Hogue or ????. I guess if you wanted you could pull that up over the grip safety and have one less potential murphy.

Congrats on the new tupper ware. I have enjoyed shooting mine. Although I did catch a rash of crap on this forum for getting the OD one. I still like it best.

It's a hacked up slip over grip. I'm sure the boys in the gun store would be amused to see a nice grip hacked up. It does slide around a little bit, but not enough to interfere with loading or the grip safety. I like the finger bumps, if that's the technical term.

The subcompacts are way too small for my hand. I was looking at the 5 inch version, but the 4 inch version kinda fell into my lap.
