My front sight, site fell off my P11.

Is it sight or site?

Anyway, i noticed the other day that my front site was off center so I punched it to the middle. It looked to be on there fine and carried it a while w/out issues.

Go to the range this weekend and after about 70 rounds I notice my front site has taken flight . Search around the ground filled with thousands of empty casing and by who knows how, find my site.

I bought the gun with Ashley big dot nights on there. Can I do it myself, maybe with some loctite? :-/

Btw, planning on getting the slide refinished later down the road.
 
Sight

I had exactly the same thing happen to me. I was shooting an IDPA match with my P-11 and the sight worked its way out. I just sent the slide back to Ashley, and they reinstalled it without cost. You might call Ashley and see what they say. If they refuse because you aren't the original owner, I would suggest taking it to a gunsmith to be reinstalled. I don't think locktite will do it. It's not like you have much choice. Since the slide has been milled for that sight, nothing else will work.
