maybe could get some ideas here my Glock 17 gen 4 is shooting the 135 coated rn bullet with 4grs of W231, well i am out of W231 that i had from 20yrs ago, what powders and charge would be worth a try, the w231 load was very accurate, powders i have on hand is Solo 1000, Titegroup, Unique, Power Pistol , Bullseye and red dot

thanks
Chet

Everyone will have their opinion. Like asking what flavor of ice cream is best. With that said I found that I like TiteGroup best because it does not have a lot of "flash" (like Power Pistol) and seems to attain the same velocities that other powers do at a lower pressure level.

I use 4.7gr Unique behind a 124 gr cast bullet, personally. This is very accurate in my Glock.

The only powder in your inventory I'd set aside is Power Pistol. It's a little slow for coated bullets, IMO. Not that it wouldn't work, fine. It just works a little more fine for jacketed bullets than some of the others, IMO.

Titegroup is what I use exclusively for my 9mm loads, also in a Gen4 17, and other Glock models as well. I've used 3.4g for a 135g Xtreme plated. Not a hot load at all.
