Had just fired 20 rounds or so when I pull trigger. Nothing happens. Triigger just goes back as if uncocked. Drop magazine, eject chambered round and locked slide back. Don't see any problem. Reinsert magazine, round rechambers normally with slide release and pull trigger. Again, trigger just goes back as if uncocked and fails to fire. Make gun safe and find very small square piece of metal on bench. (Using 115 gr FMJ at time and have only 2000 or so rounds through it). Got RMA number from Kahr and send back immediately before UPS closed. I love the size and DAO trigger of this gun but it's the second time it's gone back (crack in front of slide first time) so I'm concerned. Any idea what happened?

It sounds like the trigger bar spring has broken or is dislocated. to determine whether this has occured, remove the right grip panel. Check the Kahr Arms web page manual download: www.kahr.com/DL/kahrmanual.pdf -there will be a page with an illustration of an exploded MK9. The spring I mentioned will be part number 14. I hope this helps Mich1 and I hope that once you get these troubles resolved you will enjoy your MK9 as much as I enjoy mine.

I've been putting 50 rounds, approx once a week through my CW9 for the past 3+ years, so I'd say there is hope.

It broke before the first box was half gone. Sent it back to Kahr and although the repair was slower than I'd have liked, its been fine since. Replaced the recoil spring last year when it started having some failures to go fully into battery, seems to have been the cure.
