I just got my new baby last night. It is a 1992 mfg I found on gunbroker for $500. It doesn't appear to been fired much as hardly any blue is gone from where the barrel and bushing meet. I only had time to put two mags of 230 gr ball thru it last night (in the dark) and did a quick 4" group at 15 yards. I have always wanted and officers, and am glad i got it. It has a nice, compact and solid feel to it. I am definately going to have to fit a better grip safety to it, that will be my first project. My Wolff springs are in the mail, and cant wait til they get here so i can do some serious shooting with it.

I am still undecided about the spring plug, I have heard they are weak, but I really like the looks of it. Maybe I will just buy a few as spars in case the original developes a crack.

Wow, congradulations. That is a great looking OACP! I hope you enjoy it and thanks for posting a picture. We forum members really appreciate it.:neener:

I have a RIA Officer's Model that I love. Shoots great, very compact. It is my summer carry gun. Mine has the full length guide rod. No problems yet. Plan on putting a bunch of new parts on it in the next few days. Wilson Drop in grip safety. EGW hammer, sear and disconnect. And a new trigger. Of course I will have do reliability testing again. Darn! I'll have to shoot it a lot again!
