Ok - finally did it after a week of mental wrangling and looking over the posts here (which were exceptionally helpful, thank you all). Bought a new Kel-Tec P32 for $ 249, which seems about the going rate in my area.

Took it to the range and put 100 FMJ rds (my chosen carry round) through itwith no malfunctions. Shot it at 3 yds (normally practice at 7-15 yds with my G19/SP 101/1911) and was VERY pleasantly surprised at the accuracy. Could easily group 5 rds in 1-1 1/4" square with no trouble.

Recoil was easy, even in such a small package with my big hands it was an easy shooter after I got used to holding it. Took it home, stripped and cleaned it without any issues very easily (another reason to like a gun I find).

Then left the Glock and home and went and did some shopping. Dropped it in a pocket and off I went - no worries about printing, bulges or noticeable weight. In fact, some of the shopping I did was to pick up another 100 Winchester White-Box rounds, at about $ 11/box. Ammo seems to run around $11/box in whatever variety in my area which means I can proctice without undue stress, sort of like with my G19.

Yeah, for summer carry, its still going to be mainly my Glock or SP101. But I figure the P32 will swiftly be a real "go-everywhere" gun when needed and I can also shoot it a fair bit (which is needed, given the ..umm...potency of the .32 auto round).

I'm immensely pleased with this purchase and don't have the lightest regret or guilt - which in itself is a nice feeling :D

New P32

Grin - I didn't exactly drop it in my pocket. I put it in a Safariland nylon holster I usually use for my SP 101. Seemed to work okay - but when I got home I ordered a custom built P32 pocket holster from K&D Holsters over the web.

They were recommended over on the "Kel-Tec Range" web site/bulletin board.
