Ain't she sweet!! Good going. Mine was youngest was nine when he got a Crickett, now he's 11 and shoots an AR-15!!

This is so awesome! Some of you may have seen the thread about my daughter's first shooting experience last week, so I have recently had a similar experience. This is one of the great feelings on earth, isn't it, Omega? Watching the satisfaction and pride kids feel as they are successful at a very serious (yet fun) endeavor will warm your heart.

Keep up the good work Omega.

Shooting Buddy

Omega: you won.
Now don't go and mess it up.:)

If she can Load her own
If She's got a Truck
If She's got a Dog
If She's got a Boat
Still believe you might or'ter keep her:)

I do believe you'r LUCKY:)

Omega,
My dad took me shooting for the first time when I was 8 years old. Believe me, those memories last a lifetime.

Thank you guys, for the warm comments.
I was waiting for her to be ready and become interested in this sport. She had a lot of support and attention from the shooters and she (as any girl) liked it a lot.

Wrench: yes, this is Oakdale. Do you still have your Makarov and compact Beretta?

Man, that is so cool. I've got a 3 year old that I can't wait to get involved in the sport. He already asks about it, I just don't think it's a good idea yet.

Hey Omega, I'm a member at Oakdale, thought that looked familiar!
Sold the Makarov, still have the Beretta, in fact I've added another one.
Maybe I'll see you out there sometime-and congratulations on your new shooting partner, you know how expensive little girls can be I'm sure, soon it will be, "Daddy I need a new shotgun", "Daddy, how about a nice 1911"
"Daddy, we need more ammo"
Yup, you are in trouble, now! :D

Omega,

looks like you have a real sweetheart for a kid.

If you can arrange it, try to find some reactive targets. The smiles will be priceless.
