I had been looking for a S&W model 48 in .22wmr for a while to go with my 17, but most were out of my price range. Yesterday, I found this one on Gunsamerica. It's a 6" 48-4 with the original box, papers, kit, and a scope. It even comes with an extra .22lr cylinder (I don't know where they got that). I picked it all up for $350, shipped! How did I do? Anybody know the market value?

How Did I do?

IMO you did very well I have seen M-48's go for upwards of $400.The LR cylinder as an option would add $75.00,Scope $75.00,Box tool ect. $50.,Shipping $25 to $35.
you did good

Beauty. I was going to look for a 4" to go with my other two, but think that the cartridge requires at least 6" of barrel to make it worth while ballistic wise. Randy

Man, they should fingerprint you when you pick it up, you STOLE it!!! A SUPER nice package, I would love to have it.
