My Next Press Should Be?

Stubbicat,

I suppose every manufacturer lets a lemon out the door at least once in a blue moon, but Forster co-ax's reputation indicates it doesn't happen very often. Sorry to hear about yours.

Hornady lock rings work well on the co-ax press also. And their socket head cap screws are a little easier to tighten with the die in the press than the phillips head screws on the Forster lock rings. One of these days I'm going to replace the Forsters' screws...

i actually like the forster rings better and use them occasionally on my other presses. instead of having a screw that goes perpendicular, straight into the threads of the die, the forster rings have the screw that goes tangent to the die and never touches the die.

back when i got my co-ax, extra rings were like, a dollar at midway or something.

however, the redding s dies i just bought early this year came with a redding ring. i've used that in the forster co-ax without any difficulty whatsoever. i also have some hornady dies with hornady rings on them. they work fine.

so, i don't think it's much of an issue either way.
