My pistol was confiscated today.

Reposting.I ended up getting one of these today from a friend . P22, 2 mags , box , papers , a fobus padle holster , and a zip soft case for $120 . Did I get a good deal?

Well today . I get a call from the babysitter ( Grandma) so I get to take it out with my sweetheart and get her out shooting for the first time in five years. I un pack my .45, 9mm, and my other .22. Then I pulled out the Walther and her ears perked up . She picked it up and said "It is so cute." 500 rounds later( No jams , Federal Bulk pack.), she tells me I need to go to the store and get more ammo for HER pistol .:banghead:
Sigh at least she went shooting again . Now I just need to get me one .

4v50 Gary I think you got confused . Gramma stole the kids not the gun . Sweetheart stole the Walther .


Gramma can't shoot . She doesn't have the strength to pull a D.A. trigger , or rack any slide . I might try and talk her into a double barrel and keep trap loads in it for her , but it just seems a little too Beverly Hilibillies for me .

I HATE it when that happens!
It does however, provide me the perfect excuse to visit all of the shops in town to look for and buy a perfectly legitimate replacement (or two).

Hey, since you only paid $120, just pick up another one.

When the P22s first showed up, my wife had to have one. I told her she could wait and pay around $200, or buy the one that was sitting in front of us at the gun show, the only one we had seen in months, for $300... she bought it then, she knows what she wants and she wants it when she wants it!

Based on everything I've read in these and other forums, you have a bit of a rare P22 there ... no jams on Federal Bulk ammo is pretty good.
