Hello folks,I've been on a hiatus but I'm back. Interesting times in which we find ourselves.
I'm interested in doing whatever possible to my SIG to improve it's reliability and ease of use. I'll be sending it to Grays Guns for their new and improved carry package, so I'm confident that they'll take care of the improvements regarding the mechanics. However, I'm a bit unnerved at the rust that showed up from a brief canoe trip. What sort of coating, internal and external, should I have applied to this piece to REALLY get it "SHTF" certified? I've heard positive (and negativE) things about CeraKote, GunKote, DuraCoat and the Robar RC3(?). What is the concensus regarding the coatings?
Thanks again
