My Website Sparked RKBA Debate on FARK

Until yesterday, I never heard of FARK.com. Then somebody emailed me a link to this FARK "submit a link" page. It takes anyone to my website's home page, which includes a hald dozen pro-RKBA quotes by our founding fathers, and a half dozen anti-RKBA quotes by liberal Democrats today. (I didn't submit the link, I didn't even know about FARK or its discussion threads. Somebody just emailed me to tell me it was posted.)

This is what is blurbed on FARK next to the link: "A bunch of cool quotes that support gun ownership. By the way, the 2nd Amendment doesn't say anything about 'felons'."

Anyway, there is a discussion forum that goes with each link, and this one has gone past 250 replies in 24 hours, a real interesting debate because it's almost evenly split between pros and antis.

The only thing that ticked me off was some moron who reposted an old military photo of me with the caption " "All I know is, I finally get to kill somebody." Sometimes a picture says a thousand words. I've never heard a picture shout the words "gun-lovin' psycho" so loud before."

I resent that, because it's an active duty military photo of myself.

I was going to post a few of my "posters", since some of those posting there seem to be literary "challenged", but the auto 24 hour delay to post after registration, (a "cooling off" period to post?), made me say, nah, waste of time.
Did you comment on the use of your picture?

I'm not registered over there either. I decided to just stay out of it, and watch. It's interesting because it's 50-50 liberal antis.

I've followed Fark off and on for about a year. Political threads are dominated by the left; but discussions about guns are usually a little more pro-gun than anti.

Fark is a pretty unique site. It has a whole load of people that post about each link. Just remember that the vast majority of the people that have time to post on it are kids with no jobs, so don't take anything on fark too serious.

It's free publicity, who cares. Fark is a place for idiots to have mostly unintelligent discussion.

My username is "Crosshair" on Fark as well. I generaly read, but don't post on the gun threads there because they turn into a flamewar rather quickly. I do post on other political threads though, ones that arn't such hot a topic.
