The head of the Atlanta chapter of the NAACP said Wednesday that Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick has made mistakes but that they should not cost him his football career with the NFL.

This NAACP guy gets my vote for 'most ignorant media whore of the year'. I guess the NAACP guy means that all hunters electrocute, drown and set fire to their kill.
Let this <guy> know how you feel: [email protected]
My letter:
White also said he didn't understand the uproar over dogfighting, when hunting deer and other animals is perfectly acceptable.

Dear Sir,
You have made a gross error in judgment by being quoted as saying, "[you] didn't understand the uproar over dogfighting, when hunting deer and other animals is perfectly acceptable." By stating what you did, you lost any credibility for the NAACP in my eyes.
You see, there's a bit of a difference over legal hunting, and pitting two dogs in an illegal fight. The two are in no way related.
How dare you make the assumption that the humane and necessary killing of deer is in any way related to the ghoulish mistreatment of dogs at Vick's "compound". When myelf and my fellow hunters kill a deer, we do so for food or charity. We DO NOT practice drowning, hanging and electrocution if the deer doesn't cooperate with us.
Last time I checked, premeditated murder of a human combined with brutality would either give you a) life in prison b) death sentence. Similar treatment of a dog is also condemned harshly. The NAACP is apparently so focused on saving Vick's <----> that they totally lost touch with the rest of the country. We are a society of animal lovers and will not abide this kind of behavior from anyone including your precious Mr. Vick.
You are also a hypocrite: As if Michael Vick should be given a second chance with his career for torturing and killing dogs, while Don Imus should be kicked out of radio indefinitely for saying something stupid?
Sir, you disappoint me. If you play the race card when race isn't a factor, you're the racist.
Sincerely,
