The point of me posting this story is for a few reasons:


1.) It illustrates the fact that despite Nancy's attempts to ban assault rifles they are used in less than 1% of crimes (if I recall correctly) wherein hammers are used for more often in assault crimes.



2.) A firearm for self-defense in the home can be important even for wealthy individuals who have security systems and even body guards.


3.) The defund the police movement combined with the extreme gun ownership restrictions in California prove disastrous for citizens.



I hope Paul Pelosi has a quick recovery.

A firearm that one is competent using, electronic alarm, large dog(s), would all help prevent being assaulted in one's home; I have all that and I'm a poor nobody.
