My kids and grandson came to visit for the 4th but the nights of the 4th, 5th, and 6th all produced rain so we couldn't set off our fireworks. However, Saturday night was clear and a whole bunch of fountains, etc. were set off.

My 5 yo grandson wanted some noise though so today I dragged out my 40 y.o. 12 ga. Napoleon cannon and shot off several rounds of .715 lead balls in front of 110 grs. of 1FG.
Each shot seemed louder than the last and all 5 shots blasted through a piece of 3/4" plywood and into a dead tree 40 yds. away.

That thing sure is fun but it eats up the balls and powder pretty quick. I don't have any video because I was busy with the cannon and everyone else was holding their ears.

My grandson loved it. He wants to be a soldier when he gets old enough.
