Nationwide CCW reciprocity proposal

Please help me understand.

I live in Texas. I Get a CHL. If this bill passes, I am allowed to carry in any state. The laws I am bound regarding carrying (such as definitions) are Texas' laws?

Is this correct, or do I have to apply that state's law, such as Ohio while in car carry thing, or is there going to be a national standard.

I think this bill is good, just general questions.

I support anything that enhances the Citizens' right to protect themselves.

All that needs to be done is that the "full faith and credit" clause of the Constitution should be enforced.

We don't need new laws, and we certainly don't need to expand the federal government..

Or as anyone who actually can read the BOR in the context and with the words and their intended definitions from which it was written, any licensing or denial of CW or CCW is illegal and a violation of rights. The states (NJ, CA, etc) have no RIGHT TO DENY a citizen of these rights. Now is the Feds job to come in and say you may not deny a citizen of these rights by issuing a national CCW? Make some sort of federal decree?

Unfortunately two state attorneys general (TN and VA) have written extensively on this issue and disagree with you. I would tend to trust their extensive legal knowledge.
