My sister just called me with a question about a rifle that came in. It is a Spanish mauser, bent bolt-I'm thinking a 1916. It is Fabrica de armas manufacture, dated 1931. It has been rebarreled to 7.62mm NATO. She says the rifle is in excellent condition, which I take to mean 90-95%.
Since Spanish mausers don't usually bring much (though they are fine rifles, in my experience), I told her I'd put it on the shelf at $250 and see if anyone bites. If anyone knows more about these critters, let me know if I'm in the ballpark.
I'd have worked a deal if it was still in 7x57, but I have no interest in NATO converted mil surps.
