If anyone knows anything about this front target sight, I would appreciate any info. Could not find anything on the net that looked like it. It came off a 24" AR15 target rifle. Just curious as to who made it and what if anything it may be worth.

Thanks for any help!

Re: Identifying front sight on Ar15

By this time you may have an answer but I am throwing in my input. I would investigate Sinclairs or check Lipskis for an answer. Its looks like Lipski styling or something sold through Sinclair. Precision Shooting magazine might be able to help you. Its look like something used on one of the "space guns" .

Good Luck your thread was different so I took a look. Sometimes 560 people all answer the easy questions so when something different comes along its a challenge. Besides it sucks when you post a question and not a soul answers or offer help or a suggestion. Good Luck.

The globe part of the sight is a Tompkins. That's worth about $55. The base looks to be home made, at least I've never seen one exactly like it. It looks to made of steel and heavy. Overall it's a ladder design that several companies use today. Just not nearly as bulky and made of aluminum.
