I don't know if this is out of line or not, so I will let you decide. I have a Forster Co-Ax press and want to upgrade it with the curved arms on either side. I've seen ones I'm interested in made by a guy named Josh B. I can not get a hold of him so I was wondering if any of you fellows would happen to have this upgrade on a Co-Ax you own made by this guy. They look like they are made out of aluminum, and if you would be willing to trace one of the curved linkages on a piece of paper and send it to me. I have a band saw and thought I could make a set for myself. Thanks. Mac

If you are talking about these things:

they look to me like they're made out of stainless steel. I doubt that aluminum would be strong enough in that application. In any event, he evidently builds those things on a CNC mill and I think it would be nearly impossible to build a pair with a band saw and a drill press that are matched as closely as they need to be. But YMMV, so good luck.

Hey GoldieMi, yeah those would work, but I would prefer the other ones like I mentioned because the round pins on the back side give you even more room. Thanks for responding. Boy sure would like to find someone that could trace a set for me.

Pull the factory side bars, indicate the hole positions. Indicate on the press a reference for the stop position. Cut a blank based on the factory hole reference, roll the press to the stop position, mark the blank on the backside with witness marks to show your option for stop pin interference face. Pick a diameter for your stop pin, indicate from the interference face, and drill.

Everything you need is now in your hands.
