picked up some speer gold dot 180gr bonded core bullets.
have the speer 13 info but for some reason the data doesnt look right.
measured the bullets and they where slightly over .400 would say anywhere from .4005 to .401. the bullet height was inconsistent.
heard these were plated they sure look it. though thicker jacket not as squishy. would think the pressure would be more with the size being closer to .401 than .400 speer 13 books says to load them to 1.120 with various max loads ie power pistol 7.2gr 1013fps 1.120oal and universal 5.9gr 901fps 1.120oal.
looking to use Titegroup,WSF,N340 and Longshot myself.
have loaded 180gr Hornady FMJ Encapsulated and XTP to 1.125 up to max load without any issues the brass looked better than most factory loads end up and the brass was already once fired. that recoil is stout but manageable in Steyr M40.
