I just and installed a Pachmayr Gripper Grip on my S&W686 square butt tonight and I'm not certain I'm all that impressed with it. I bought this pistol many years ago when I turned 21 and also bought a set of Hogue grips for it. Back then it only came with the Rose Wood grips.
Anyway, after installing the grip there is a small gap in the front of the grip where they wrap around the frame that looks like a potential pinch problem. It fits my hand OK but I guess I'm so use to the Hogue grip that's been on there for the past nearly 20 years that it's something new to get used to. The Hogue just never really were big enough for my hands and I Pachmayr is a little bigger.
What can I do to help get rid of the gap in the front of the grip?
Thanks
