well, new to me, anyway. my warehouse supervisor is trying to fund a new bushmaster varminter, so he decided to dump a few of his handguns. he offered this one to me, an old llama .45 (at least 20 years old), for $150, with 2 mags and 50 rounds of winchester target ammo.
i took it to the range today, and ran all 50 rounds he gave me, plus another 50 i bought.
wow.
i shot my dad's colt officer many, many years ago, but i thought nothing of it. i think i finally understand the fascination with 1911's now. i'm going back to the range this weekend, and see how many rounds i can put through it before my arm gets tired.
