This use to have a roll pin stuck through the firing striker and to cock it you
put a finger on each side with your thumb on the back and close your hand,
Worked, but a little Mickey Mouse to me. So today I put on a new 32 barrel
made by Ed Rayl 2 inches longer than the old one, and drilled & tapped the
back of the striker rod 6-32. Put in a rod about 2 1/2 inches long thru the
spring and through the back allen set screw "That was fun drilling thru that"
into the knob I made. Cocks real smooth now. Travel is about 3/8 inch.
Very fast ingition. I just think it looks better.
