Known as the "Secret CZ" the PCR served the Czech Police for a number of years before they adopted the P-01.

Now it is the darling of the CCW crowd that have no use for a light/laser rail.

This one has an '09 stamp on it and a decent trigger pull that will improve with use.

A prefect fit for my High Noon shoulder holster called the Under Armor.

Other than needing some real deal nites. This gun is ready to run from the box.

I can't wait for this weekend and putting some Hornady FTX down the pipe!

Look at my CZ-ZONE for more pics/info on the PCR and HN products.

man i still want one of those. i like my 40b, but the 40b has to stay in the pool of backup race guns. i could carry my SP-01 (and do) but the PCR would be a nice relief from the weight and size.

Love my PCR, my third CZ after a 452 (for a $50 debt!) and a 97B. Congratulations on it, how is the shoulder holster? I have been using an MTAC for the P01 with mine, it's a perfect fit and works well.

with the gun pointing behind you (horizontal carry) how does it print with a lose fitting suit/sportcoat? always wondered about that. i thought a vertical carry style would hide better.... but since the majority of shoulder holsters are horizontal, i must be wrong.

I think the PCR is CZs best looking gun! I know they shoot good, just wish it had a manual safety. Congrats!!:)

Hey guys, I'm seriously considering buying a PCR for my next gun purchase. This gun has been very hard to find? Do you know of any shops or online retailers that tend to stock them? It's not like the Hi Power where you can get on gun broker and find 30 of them.

matt mink (automatic accuracy) has one on gunbroker right now. since it's coming from matt, you can probably order one of the best CZ trigger jobs you can get right there before he ships it.

I carry a PCR pretty much every day. It is a wonderful 9MM. Accurate, reliable and easily concealed.

I am very pleased with mine. I put cocobolo wood thin grips from Angus Hobdell on it to make it even better. More properly, he put them on. :) It could use some night sights at some point.

I purchased a CZ 75B Stainless and a Kadet Kit from Matt Mink a little over a year ago and he was great to work with. There was a problem with the Kadet Kit and he replaced it promptly no questions asked.

If I had to do it over I would have had him do a trigger job. The trigger has gotten better after almost 5k rounds but from what I have read he does outstanding work.

Yes, but the Compact has a steel frame.

Some CZ fans wait the day when they will have alloy frames.

I've had my "00" date code PCR since then and have carried it a lot. It has never failed me. I am glad they didn't discontinue it when the P-01 came out.

Yes, some people were afraid of that but steady sales of the
PCR have kept it in production.

I'd like some CT grips for it, but CZ_USA is currently out of the
Compact sized laser grips.

no. i want some, but am literally out of discretionary income. all my funds are already scheduled for a few upcoming major matches and moving towards a 75SA in 40, and upgrading my carry gun. at 26 a pop, i can't jsutify buying some when i already have gobs of the 12 round mec-gars. however, remember that i have some trimmed followers. i have one that works 100% and sits in my carry gun for that extra bang just in case.

on a side note, i found a 75b omega sitting in the gun shop. more on that in a different thread.
