New Indoor Range in St. Louis Metro Area

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned Metro Shooting Supply has opened their indoor range in St. Ann, MO. It's on Rock Road about 2 blocks west of Lindbergh. The people there are very friendly and helpful, and no attitude. (Which I would expect, it's a new joint and they want lots of repeat business.) One thing in particular, They offered a 2 year membership for the price of one if you joined before the range opened. I and some friends jumped on it. The range opened 3 months later and there was a question about if our memberships dated from the time we bought them or when the new range opened. When we brought this up at our first trip to the range, we didn't even get the question finished before they reassured us that it applied to the opening of that range. I know that it was just good business on their part, but on the other hand, here I am singing their praises, so it must have worked, at least on us.

Anyway, it's a nice space (25yds) with good people. Give it a try.

I've been by there and wa spretty impressed. It looked as though they're still doing a bit of unpacking & setting up still, but the store part is 90%+ complete. I didn't look in on the range, and probably won't for a while, as anytime the weather is halfway nice I go out to the August A. Busch Shooting Range.

But when the late fall/winter chill sets in, Metro will probably become my default indoor range due to its proximity.

They'd have to get their range fees closer to what I pay for Ultimate Defense or gas has to get over $4.50/gallon for it to make sense for me to switch money wise.

If these guys staffing it are the same ones I delt with at their last MO location, I'll pass. If I want to feel like a criminal, I'll hang out at the police station.
