Took my newly acquired, new 1894c to the range today for initial sighting in.
Was rainy and muddy, but I just had to try the thing out.
Shot handloaded speer 158 sp's over 15gr. of 2400.
Started @ 50 yards and right away I found the windage was off to the right about 4.5 inches. Attempted 100 yards and was completely off the paper. The good thing was the 50 yard groups were 1.5" and .75". The holes in the board @ 100 yards were what looked to be about 2 inches.
Brought it home and drifted the front blade to the right. There is no windage adjustment on the rear sight, like there is on my 336.
Here's a pic of the new carbine.
