I just had a chat with a customer of my Fitz Stag grips who is with a very large company that has developed a Moly oil. It has been tested by the Navy and is currently being tested by the Army marksmanship unit.

Also It has been completely tested by the NRA and the report will be appearing soon in the American Rifleman Magazine.

My source states that current moly coated bullets leaving any moly in the bore has the moly dry out and then can absorb moisture causing pitting. That is why the oil was developed because of the moisture pitting where ever moly has been used in the past.

I have no other information and wait for the article to appear as my source does not to be swamped with questions. A dealer network will be set up to market the oil to civilians.

It is a weapons grade oil and will be sold as Plate+ to coat weapons barrels.
